Operazione "Chi osa, pervinca!" - Operation "Who dares peri-WIN-kles!"

Piazza Bagneres de Bigorre, a Quarto Inferiore e' bellissima.

Nonostante si affacci sulla trafficatissima Via San Donato, a me da' una sensazione di oasi.

Il giardiniere del condominio che circonda la piazza non ha certamente bisogno d'aiuto, tuttavia, ho pensato di piantare altre pervinche nelle buche d'albero che ci sono.

E cosi' ho fatto una scappata sulla Calabria Vecchia per raccogliere le piante e le ho trasferite ai piedi di un sinforicarpo dove, di solito, cresce solo erba selvatica.

Il risultato, al momento, e' piuttosto modesto, ma conto che le pervinche crescano cosi' come sono cresciute nelle buche d'albero all'altra estremita' della piazza.

Bagneres de Bigorre Square, in Quarto Inferiore is beautiful.
Despite facing the very busy San Donato Street, it makes you feel like being in an oasis.
The official gardener certainly doesn't need any help.
I harvested  dozen of periwinkles from the ditches of Calabria Vecchia Street and I moved them at the bottom of the Common Snowberry where usually grow weeds.

The result was rather modest, but I hope that the periwinkles will grow as they did in the two tree-pits at the other edge of the square.
