Operazione "Adamo ed Eva" - Operation "Adam and Eve"

Menu': tanta roba buona.

********************************
The village festival of Quarto Inferiore is coming.
Menu: a lot of good stuff.

An opportunity too good, to pass up.

For days, on recommendation of my father in law, I was keeping an eye on a large rectangular plastic pot located in front of the entrance to the church.

Once in the vase, there must have been some kind of shrub: now, there were a few sprigs and some old roots.
Taking advantage of the movement of volunteers who are mounting the gazebo for the restaurant, I stroke a green assault with intention of being noticed.

It has been quite simple, to be honest.
The thing that disgusted me more was the amount of cigarette butts thrown inside the pot,  like in a huge ashtray.

I hate this: nothing makes me sick like smoked cigarettes. Even dogs' poop doesn't disgust me that way.

After cleaning, I planted five Carpobrotus Edulis, all from cuttings of a plants of my garden.

Carpobrotus.... hard name, isn't it? I find more sympathetic the common name: Hottentot Plant (that in italian we call Fig of Hottentot)

What more appropriate of a plant called fig, in front of a church?

Even if, thinking about it....
how can I say?....
....if Adam dressed himself with a leaf of the Carpobrotus plant....

....fortunately for him (and for our sake), Eve did not have many other alternatives....
